    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.ideablade.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=622" rel="nofollow">Alan Cobb</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1223<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 16-Nov-2009 at 9:44am<br /><br /><P>Here's another question about the current default OM settings:</P><P>Apparently the "Create Silverlight Domain Model Project" <BR>checkbox used to be checked by default.&nbsp; At least that's <BR>what this PDF shows: <a href="http://www.ideablade.com/PDF/Silverlight4SimpleSteps.pdf" target="_blank">www.ideablade.com/PDF/Silverlight4SimpleSteps.pdf</A>.<BR>It's dated July 2009.&nbsp; But the current Object Mapper has <BR>that checkbox unchecked by default.</P><P>A newer documentation file dated October 2009 gets installed <BR>in the "Learning Resources" 100SLV_FourSimpleSteps subdir:<BR>"Ex_Four Simple Steps to Your DevForce Silverlight App.pdf"<BR>This newer PDF explicitly tells you to check that checkbox<BR>and set the target SL project.</P><P>My question:<BR>Why isn't "Create Silverlight Domain Model Project" checked <BR>by default (like it apparently was back in July 2009)?<BR>How can your SL client program do anything with DF without <BR>that?&nbsp; (The 4-simple-steps example sure doesn't work <BR>without it :).</P><P>Thanks,<BR>Alan Cobb</P><DIV>Addendum:</DIV><DIV>When I search the DF Dev Guide for "Create Silverlight Domain Model" I find this:</DIV><DIV>“This checkbox will only appear if you have a DevForce Universal or DevForce Silverlight license (but not a DevForce WinClient license). So, if we are using high resolution screen and we open it up, it will remember next time?<br><br>Thanks!<br>]]>
