A few questions for you -

 - Which version of Visual Studio are you running?
 - Which OS?
 - Have you been able to do any saves previously?  Is this problem repeatable?
 - Is the folder you're creating the project in write-protected?

You likely have a configuration problem - maybe an installation of SQL Server or another tool modified registry settings.  You can try re-registering the OLE automation DLL, which is what Visual Studio is using in the design time environment and appears to be what's causing the error here:  run "regsvr32.exe oleaut32.dll" from the command line.
