DevForce EF supports the same Windows UI vendors (DevExpress and Infragostics) as does DevForce Classic.  In DevForce Classic, we experimmented with supporting the Exceed Grid for one prospect, but never completed or finalized the work.  Supporting all or most of the UI controls from a 3rd party vendor is a significant amount of work easily 1-2 man months of work (even if you have our source and guidance).

We support many of the UI controls from Microsoft, but certainly not all.  If you find a .NET control we don't support, you might get it to work with DevForce (Classic or EF) by writing your own custom DataBinder.

I use Dotnetbar to create visually stunning winforms and now WPF pages.

I like the grid stuff that xceed are doing

I use Entity Framework (EF) to model my data

I use Ideablade EF to further do plumbing code with the EF

now. If anyone else uses this combination of flavours I'd be interested in how you tie them all together...
