How to attach a file to your post

To attach a new file to your post, first upload it to the forum under your personal account in the following manner:
  • zip the file (please keep it small. When sending code, exclude the NuGet packages folder and the project's bin and obj folders before you zip and upload)

  • choose the full forum editor (which makes the upload icon available)
  • click the upload icon
  • click "Choose file" and navigate to the zip file on your computer
  • click "Upload"
To include this newly uploaded file in your post ... or to include any file that you uploaded previously
  • choose the full forum editor (which makes the upload icon available)
  • click the upload icon

  • select the name of the zip file in the left panel
  • enter an optional title in the right panel
  • press OK
You should see a link appear in the body of the forum message. Here is an example from one of my posts


Manage your existing files:

Every file you upload, no matter what the post, ends up in your personal forum profile.
  • Click the "Member Control Panel" at the top-left of the web page
  • Select the "File Manager" link
  • Select the file of interest in the left panel
  • Manipulate as needed with the controls in the right panel
