Error Retrieving Schema

When using the Object Mapper to retrieve table info from a database, I get the message “An error occurred while retrieving the schema information for this provider. The provider and/or database may not be supported. Contact support@ideablade.com for more information.”

What is causing this and what is the solution?

Usually this error occurs because the current user has insufficient privileges to the database being accessed.  The Object Mapper, acting on that user’s behalf, must read protected system tables to discover schema information.  To do so, the user must have admin rights to the database.
