Skip validation on selected fields

We have few fields on table which we are using to maintain some historical data. Is there a way we can skip validations on those fields when we save the entity OR even better if we can tell IdeaBlade code generated not to generate data annotation/attributes for those fields.

you can suppress the validation attributes in the Entity Property's properties: (in the edmx file)
