Team IdeaBlade, I am keen to know whether you have any plans of releasing next version of DevForce Classic after version 3.7.1.0 or we consider this wonderful product an orphan now?

We will continue to release updates for Classic.  The next release should be available in January and will have some bug fixes as well as support for the new DevExpress and Infragistics controls.

January is about to end. Is there any upgrade to Classic in pipeline or not?

Team IdeaBlade,

I hope development of DF Classic 3.7.2 is going on. Feb 9 has been passed and no release as you told. I think fixes and new features are taking time.

Sorry about that, computerjin.  Yes, we've had some delays and don't have a solid date yet.

Hi computerjin,

Sorry we missed the February 9 release date. We are still working on 3.7.2 and it is scheduled for release in March. It will include support for the new DevExpress and Infragistics, and should also have better behavior with source control in TFS.

@kimj, @ting:
Thank you for your response. You people have been doing excellent work and DevForce is a wonderful product. DF Classic is that product which provided a firm foundation for DF 2010. Classic is still a prime product. Waiting for 3.7.2 release.

Thank you :) We still have legacy classic projects and working with the object mapper and TFS can be a pain, to put it lightly!
