I actually want to encrypt the user password in the db. I belive this can be done with the Buisness objects server, but is there a way to do it normally? Replies: Posted By: IdeaBlade Date Posted: 12-Jul-2007 at 3:41pm Please look at the Advanced tutorial on “Encrypting a Local Cache File”.  The example encrypts a file, but the logic can be extended to encrypt and decrypt any bit stream.
