I went ahead and started the install. Can I get a copy of the MDF files separately or a create script to run? I do not have a local sql instance although the SQL2005 management tools are installed. The  installer tells me that the instance of sql is not running and then quits. I'd like to just put the tutorial data on the main server.

If you do an install, you should see the MDF file in the installation directory (typically, C:\Program Files\IdeaBlade DevForce).
 
It should be named IdeaBladeTutorial_Data.MDF.
