anyway, we would like to know what you recommend to implement server side logic, such as kicking off a business workflow when an entity is being saved or inserted.

Hi GeertvanHorrik;

If I understand your question correctly, it sounds like you want to intercept the saving process and apply a business logic to the entity being saved. This can be done by DevForce EntityServerSaveInterceptor.
