I don't think it was good idea to bring 3rd party installation into picture. I'm not necessary crazy about installing software which will require me to install other software.

Can we understand:

1. Why PostSharp needed?
2. Do we need to deploy it on servers?

Hi Ivan,

Currently DevForce will only need PostSharp if you intend to use Code First.
Otherwise, DevForce won't need it at all.

Regards,
   Silvio.

Can I uninstall PostSharp and still use DevForce without a problem if I don't need Code First?

Maybe install of DevForce need's an option to install or not install CodeFirst feature?

Sure! You can uninstall PostSharp and still use DevForce. (the IdeaBlade.AOP assembly is the one that will need PostSharp)

Your suggestion about asking to install PostSharp is a good one.

Regards,
   Silvio.
