And yes, something has changed. The IoC implementation in Cocktail v2 is now pluggable and CocktailMefBootstrapper<T> configures MEF to be the composition provider. This use to work with Cockail 1.0.1 now i get this
 
You must first set a valid CompositionProvider by using Composition.SetProvider.
