Hi.

I want to clarify that 2.4.3 is the version of Cocktail, not DevForce.
Cocktail 2.4.3 works with DevForce 7.2.2.0. 

I need you to explain in detail how you got to this error. 
Did you open one of the Cocktail samples (i.e. TempHire?) or did you create a new solution. 
If you created a new solution, did you install the Cocktail NuGet packages or are you using the source code? (provided in the download from codeplex)

Did DevForce install properly? (i.e. did the installer run and asked for the product key?)
You can check if DevForce is installed by looking in Control Panel > Programs and Features you should see DevForce 2012 installed. If it is, what version is installed?

I installed the DevForce 2012 v 2.4.3 from this .codeplex location.

I get a build error 'An error occurred during metadata generation and a metadata file could not be created. Error: DevForce is not registered on this machine. Please contact IdeaBlade support for assistance.'. This is when I build the WPF project. I looked at the root folder for the cocktail folder where I don't see a devforce setup program.

How can I rectify this problem?
