There is not always just one connection string per DevForce application.  However, there is just one connection string per RdbKey,

Here is how you can get the connection string:
 
First get the IdeaBlade.config instance
Dim value As IdeaBladeConfig value = IdeaBladeConfig.Instance
From the IdeaBladeConfig, get the RdbKeys collection which is an IdeaBladeConfig.XmlRdbKeyCollection Select one of the XmlRdbKeys in the collection (often the one with the name of "Default")
Get the connection string from the connection property.
