While trying to add a class for a web method in a custom web service in an application, it is failing with an error of:
 
Error Retrieving Web Methods: Error generating proxy class: OptionalExtensionsIgnored.
 
I am not sure what is causing this result - I haven't found any information on it.  Can someone help shed some light on this?
