PS: i want the app to run on the client machine and get and save the information from the database located in the server.
       just fetch the information and save on the server, everything else on the client machine

hi good morning...
i have an application that will run on various client machines(50 clients) located in diff states and i want them all to communicate with one server that is hosted in another country(internet).. david from ideablade told me to use a 2-tier client/server deployment.. but i have no clue of how to do this.. can you guys please give me some tutorial that can guide me??
whats the difference between a iis deployment and an client/server deployment?
