Hi,

I just want to ask if it's normal having a memory consumption of average of 1 GB although it is stabilizing on that level?
We have only 30 clients simultaneously connecting to that BOS, with BOS having multiple models connecting to different databases?

Thanks,
Von

When I say memory consumption of 1GB, that's for the Application Pool of BOS, the BOS is the only application  using the Pool.

Hi Vonzkie,

Is the 1GB memory consumption happening when all clients are idle?
If not, what kind of operations are these clients performing?
Also, how big/complex are your models?

Regards,
sbelini.

Hi Silvio,

No, it happens when they are performing transactions.
Technically speaking our codes are just simply pulling records then users are viewing, editing and saving.
As for the complexities of models, it's like medium to large for one of our models (with approximately 70 entities), the other model has approximately 40 entities.

Thanks,
Von

Hi Von,

If the 30 clients are actually performing operations, then a high memory usage should be expected.

Since you are not having issues, I'd just suggest you monitor the appPool for memory usage/performance (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb727100.aspx#EEAA) if the number of clients grow and you start experiencing problems.

Regards,
   sbelini.
