I am currently in the process of researching the possibility to host the BOS in a web role or worker role, for one of our upcoming projects.

if you have any guidance or feedback regarding this possibility and if there are known issues that I might encounter, I would appreciate the heads up.

BTW, thanks for the POCOs. its working perfectly in my scenario.

I'm not sure about Web Role, but we are currently working on Azure and SQL Azure hosting for DevForce applications.

Hi,

I have a need to have access to both table storage and blob storage via our desktop app (WPF) which is n-tire application powered by the latest devforce 2010 (6.0.4)

the scenario is the desktop app to use devforce to retrieve POCOs from azure table storage and binary arrays from blob storage rather than talking to azure APIs directly.

I am aware of devforce support for POCOs but not sure where to start looking and if this scenario is supported?

also, can I host devforce in a WebRole (since .net 4.0 is now supported in windows azure)?
