I can't seem to install DevForce for Silverlight successfully.

I've followed the instructions in the installation guide several times. I'm running the RTM version of VS2010, I have both the Silverlight 4 Tools and the Silverlight 4 toolkit installed. I'm not sure if it matters but I run VS2010 as administrator.

I downloaded the latest version of DevForce from the website (6.0.3.1?) and ran the installer.

I have the project templates for DevForce but the extensions manager shows no extensions installed.

Any ideas on what I should do?

Edit: the installation guide seems to suggest that which settings profile I selected when I first set up VS2010 is important, is that the case? I selected the C# option, but the guide seems to say that installation won't work unless I selected the Visual Web Development option?

Find the file IdeaBlade.VisualStudio.OM.Designer.vsix in the DevForce installation folder (typically C:\Program Files\DevForce 2010\) and double-click it to launch it. That should install the OM extension.

There seem to be a variety of obscure reasons why the OM extension sometimes won't install correctly, but that usually takes care of it.

It's just important that you've run Visual Studio at least once, and chosen a settings profile, before you install DevForce. It doesn't care which profile you choose.

That worked! Thanks for the help.
