I would be interested in knowing what others are doing about report printing for line of business applications. Our clients have hundreds of reports in Crystal Reports but unfortunately last I checked SAP was not going to develop a Crystal Reports Viewer for Silverlight. I have looked at other reporting options but they tend to be prorietary and not very tool friendly for development, Componentone, Telerik. I am considering SSRS. There are relatively inexpensive tools for converting CR to SSRS and there is a viewer available from Perpetuum Software.
From my viewpoint and experince, printing reports is a very important part of LOB apps and my clients would have a fit if I told them no more reports.
Another options would some type of data visualization tools and display the data on the screen and give them an option to export to pdf etc.
What have others done on here?
