We are developing a Silverlight app, but would also like to create a web service for a possible mobile non-.net client. The documentation alludes to this as a possibility, but I can't find any specifics. I'm sure it's not much trouble to create a service like that, serving up either devforce classes or EF objects - but if there is something built in to make this easier (or at least guidelines for an approach) I'd love to take a look. In particular it would be good to be able to reuse all of the validation annotations on our DevForce objects on the server side.

We don’t do anything to help with this in DevForce 2009, but you can write your own service to expose your DevForce entities.
