I've downloaded DevForce Universal 2010 and I'm going through Tour of DevForce 1.  I create the DevForce Silverlight App, add the ADO.Net Entity Data Model and generate from the database as per tut but I'm unable to get the template to generate the NorthwindIB.EDMX.tt file and the associated shortcut in the Shared Code folder.  Can you tell me where I'm going wrong?

Regards

Is the IdeaBade OM Designer Extension visible in the VS2010 Extension Manager?  If not try try using the OM Designer Extension Installer shortcut.

I have the same issue and more. vs2010 pro, devforce install was seemingly fine. Following the Tour part 1, there was no tt file generated. I found this post and ran the OM Designer Ext installer. Closing vs and reopening the same project finds no tt file, which is reasonable. Then I build the app to see if the tt file appears.

Now I get a warning dialog: The 'VSTS for Database Professionals Sql Server Data-tier Application' package did not load correctly. The problem may have been caused by the installation of another extension, etc. I click through that and then another like it for RadLangSvcPackage; then one for Language Pack.

Still no tt file. Do I need to delete the ef model? What about the blown up extensions?

Now I've closed and reopened vs a couple more times. The ext warnings are gone. After deleting the original edmx and recreating, I've got the tt file.
