Subject: All push notifications failing in 6.0.5.0

Hi there,

I am having trouble getting push notifications to work with the new 6.0.5.0 version. I first noticed the issue with my test-project, but then realized that the Wiki example also failed to work as it did with 6.0.4.0.

As soon as any project calls RegisterCallback then an EntityServerException is thrown stating that the IdeaBlade.EntityModel.Push.SL assembly cannot be found in the XAP, however I have manually checked that this file is referenced and that the correct version is being used.

The same example with 6.0.4.0 assemblies referenced works as expected and no exceptions are thrown. Please can someone advise if they recieve the same error and if so, if anyone can advise a work-around.

Thanks in advance

Hi

I'm getting the same error. I've checked my references and all is as it should be.

Although this is a lot of new code, it was working in 6.0.4 with the sample code.

We've confirmed this is a bug introduced in 6.0.5.0.  There is no workaround for the problem, but we're determining now whether to issue a patch for 6.0.5 or to provide you with a very early drop of 6.0.6.

We've included the fix in an early drop of 6.0.6.  skaapman69, you and GeorgeB have hopefully already received an email from support containing download information.   For anyone else who needs this early drop, please contact mailto:support@ideablade.com - support@ideablade.com .
