Telerik has implement a New RadDomainDataSource compatible with WCF Ria Services.

you can check on http://blogs.telerik.com/blogs/posts/10-12-24/introducing_raddomaindatasource_for_silverlight.aspx - http://blogs.telerik.com/blogs/posts/10-12-24/introducing_raddomaindatasource_for_silverlight.aspx

I would like to know how compatible is this with devforce..

iosub;

It looks like Telerik wrote the control specifically for RIA so my guess is that would not work with DevForce.

This is the answer I got from them
@losu
Writing a data source component will be even easier for DevForce, because of their native LINQ support on the client. However having tight integration with them is not in our immediate radar. But it sound like a nice pet project that you can cook and share with us via our public code library

What do you think???

Hi iosub;

It sounds like a good idea. We'll look into it as resources permit.

Is there a timeframe for this implementation? - Or what is the roadmap about this thing?
Thanks for any information about this.

Hi Zero-G,

Sorry but we don't have a timeframe or roadmap yet. You could try and create a poll for this at  http://www.ideablade.com/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=49&title=community-feedback - http://www.ideablade.com/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=49&title=community-feedback . We might bump this up if we can get more developers votes.
