I would like to look at tutorials on user login and authentification.

If you could please suggest some tutorials, along with any code samples you have on the subject that would be great.

Here are some tutorials that you might be interested in:

 

The introductory tutorial on user authentication is in the “Advanced Topics” section of the tutorials under “Authentication”.  It is the second tutorial in this section.  You might also be interested in the following tutorial on “Role-based Authorization.
