Hi mseeli,

What sample did you try to download? (provide the URL)
You should be able to download DevForce samples at http://drc.ideablade.com/xwiki/bin/view/Documentation/code-samples - http://drc.ideablade.com/xwiki/bin/view/Documentation/code-samples .
No login is required.

Regards,
   Silvio.

Hi mseeli,

The DevForce Application Framework is now a legacy product.
I suggest that you take a looke at Cocktail instead:

The Cocktail overview:

Cocktail download:
http://cocktail.codeplex.com/ - http://cocktail.codeplex.com/

Hi,
I noticed the same. It's clearly a configuration issue with the this website.
But if that's going to be IdeaBlade's answer why not remove them from the site, instead of having a missleading login prompt?

The issue applies to CoProjectDF, HelloWorld and Sample app.

In case you don't know, you can get the sample sources from
http://devforcecaliburn.codeplex.com/ - http://devforcecaliburn.codeplex.com/

Hi jradxl,

We will update DevForce Resource Center accordingly.

What I meant by my previous response is that we will no longer be developing the DevForce Application Framework and highly recommend that anyone interested move to Cocktail.

Kind regards,
   Silvio.

Sorry for the confusion. The DevForce Application Framework (DAF) page on our wiki should now redirect to the http://drc.ideablade.com/xwiki/bin/view/Documentation/cocktail - Cocktail overview .

We've made some significant improvements to DAF and have repackaged it as http://cocktail.ideablade.com - Cocktail . We will continue to host DAF on CodePlex, but only to support existing applications.

If you've built an application using DAF, please refer to the http://drc.ideablade.com/xwiki/bin/view/Documentation/devforce-application-framework-to-cocktail - Cocktail transition guide to learn how to move your project to Cocktail.

Cocktail removes some of the complexity and obsolete concepts found in DAF and is where we are focusing our development efforts moving forward.

I hope this helps clear things up,

John
