I'm having a hard time trying to work together with DevForce and either of DevExpress or Infragistics (I'm trying them out both to choose between them).

Here is my situation :
  • English WinXP
  • French Visual Studio 2005
  • DevForce 3.5.3.1 (installed well, though I had to install manually the toolbox since I have a language error with the toolbox installer package)
  • Infragistics 7.2
  • DevExpress 7.2.3
I had the same toolbox installation problem with Infragistics, and I worked it out around the same way.

If I try to install either toolbox of Infragistics 7.2 or DevExpress 7.2.1 (latest in the choices) through DevForce's toolbox installer it fails again.

Up to now, it's not so bad I guess.

But now when I get in ControlBindingManager->Configure Databindings->Preferences, I can't add these other Control Suites...  What can I do?

BTW if you have any comments on either of those two solutions to help me make a choice, that would be helpful.  Thanks.

Above is a link to fix the toolbox installation problem that worked for me. (Although i remember it being on some guys website and not at infragistics)   _popupControl();
