How can I use Infragistics NetAdvantage 2008 vol 1 for .NET with DevForce 3.6.0.2 in designing User Interfaces and Data Bindings?

You'll need a version of DevForce that Supports Infragistics 8.1, probably the next version of DevForce 3 after DevForce 3.6.0.2.

Thank you for your reply. I tried it by changing machine.config file manually but useless. I've to say that IdeaBlade DevForce 3.6.0.2 evaluation is going wonderful. But the problem is our architects have decided to shift to NetAdvantage 2008 vol 1 for the current project. May be when our coding starts, new version of DevForce will release!

I don't have a date, for our next release but I suspect that  we will start work on Infragistics 8.1 in early March.

I must say: DevForce is such an excellent tool that it MUST NOT be dependent on other third party GUI controls regarding Data - UI customization.

You guys at IdeaBlade must develop a utility to assign any installed UI controls to specific dayatypes in business entities generated by DevForce just like Visual Studio 2005 allows you to do this (from Tools menu -> Options, then Windows Form Designer node -> Data UI Customization).

By using that utility one would associate any UI control on his/her machine to any datatype available in his/her business logic layer. It will be a GREAT feature in DevForce if you guys consider implementing it just like it is implemented in Visual Studio 2005 Data UI Customization options window.

I think in this way you can focus more on enhancing the stability and efficiency of DevForce generated application layers rather than focusing on data and UI element binding issues in each release.
